Crown Green Bowling
The green is open from March to October depending on the weather and maintenance work required.
April to September
The club participates in several local leagues with matches being played both home and away.
For the 2015 season:-
Monday afternoons - veteran men (2 teams)
Monday evenings - mixed men and ladies (2 teams)
Tuesday evenings - mixed men and ladies (2 teams)
Wednesday evenings - ladies (2 teams)
Thursday afternoons - mixed veteran men and ladies (2 teams)
In addition to the leagues there are a number of bowling tournaments held throughout the season usually on Sundays.
These vary from hotly contested and prestigious individual or doubles trophies to the more relaxed "round robin" events where players get the chance to play with different partners.
Beginners
Special sessions for beginners and improvers are run by experienced trainers. These are available for members and non-members so get in touch to find out more.

Speak to the captains if you would like to play and everyone is very welcome to come along to watch, encourage and support.
An informal bowling competition and social gathering with our friends from Lytham. An annual event enjoyed by bowlers and non-bowlers alike.
